Confidence Monitor
A screen positioned at the front of the stage, facing the speaker, that displays their presentation slides, notes, a countdown timer, and sometimes a live feed of what the audience sees. Confidence monitors let speakers present without turning to look at the main screen behind them. They are standard in professional event production and are typically managed by the AV team alongside the show caller.
