The practice of scanning attendee badges or event app QR codes at the entrance to individual sessions to track which sessions each person attended. Session scanning provides accurate attendance data for CPD compliance, speaker analytics, and room utilisation reporting. It can be done with handheld scanners, fixed readers, or NFC tap points at session room doors.
