Bump-In

The period before an event when equipment, staging, signage, exhibition stands, and AV are delivered to the venue and set up. Also known as 'load-in' or 'move-in'. Bump-in is one of the most logistically complex phases of an event, requiring precise scheduling of deliveries, rigging, electrical work, stand builds, AV installation, and testing. A detailed bump-in schedule prevents bottlenecks at loading docks and ensures everything is ready for doors opening.
